Went here to have a trailer hitch installed. They didn't ask if my van had stow and go seats (it does) so the hitch they ordered didn't fit. They told me to come back the next day... Not an option because I had to work (I'd already taken the day off to be there), plus I had driven 30 minutes to get there. They ended up keeping my van, sent me home with a "company car" that was 20 years old with 4 bald tires and I wasn't sure it would make it the 30 miles home, and installed the hitch the next day. Tried to make it seem like it was my fault that I didn't tell them the van had stow and go seats... How was I supposed to know that it made a difference...thats their job, and they didn't do it... If I ever go back, it will be too soon....
We were actually next door but are very familiar with Youngblood's RV. We have never been able to make a deal, They had a two year old rig and wanted as much as for a current year rig. The personnel at the Mayfield location are nice.
Buying at Youngblood's was simply the best service experience I have had in my life. The staff was attentive and wonderful. My family bought a small travel trailer but we were treated like we bought a $300K motorhome. Roger gave us a great price and I felt like I could trust him from the first minute I met him. He made sure that everything was in perfect condition before we left the lot with our travel trailer. I told him that it was a gift for my family for Christmas and he made sure to work me in his already busy shop schedule before the holiday. Also, a bonus I didn't expect was that he had a service representative walk through EVERY aspect of my travel trailer with me and my wife to make sure we understood operation before we left. We were showed operation of systems, winterization, towing, use of the brake controller, needed accessories ect. Most importantly, they would not let us leave the lot without sway control for the trailer. I was skeptical at first, but after reading my car manual and doing online research, it is an ESSENTIAL aspect of safely pulling the travel trailer with my vehicle. After my experience there, I would never buy an RV anywhere else, even if I had to pay more at Youngblood's. Being naturally skeptical, gaining my trust and loyalty are not easy, but after my experience at Youngblood's RV Center, I am a customer for life.
