I was 600 miles from home when my 2500 Silverado Duramax stalled early one morning. I called the local Chevrolet dealer, Linwood and talked to Tim Matt, the Service Manager. He was extremely helpful and put me in touch with a wrecker service who promptly delivered my truck to the dealership. Tim immediately assigned his master diesel mechanic Ben, and he began to run diagnostics and determined it was a fuel system issue. After further diagnosis and keeping me informed Ben determined that there was some metal shavings in the fuel system. Kelly Oakley, the Service Advisor got me a Loaner car and said they expected it to be completed the next day. Unfortunately, the next day, the Ben had determined that it was much more extensive. Ben did a great job of explaining the issues. Kelly helped me to rent a car for the trip back home. They kept me informed of the issues and progress and when I returned to pick up the truck, they were extremely helpful and informative about all the repairs. And they were filing all the warranty papers, wrecker service, car rental etc. so that I would not be out those expenses. Their concern for me and focusing on promptly working on my truck was a wonderful example of customer service. Tim and Kelly were very kind and attentive. In the midst of being 600 miles from home, not sure about repairs, how to get home and expenses, they were always right there to encourage and take care of all my concerns. And when I picked it up, Ben had driven the truck and assured me that it was ready. I was very impressed with the Tim, Kelly and Ben at Linwood. It was not my first choice to be broken down 600 miles from home, but they did a tremendous job of taking care of me and my truck. They are truly an example of what Customer Service should be at any dealership and any place that serves the public.
